CHIP REESE - RIP

David “Chip” Reese, the three-time World Series of Poker bracelet winner, longtime cash-game star, and member of the Poker Hall of Fame, has died. He was 56.

Card Player has learned that Reese went to the hospital last night with symptoms of pneumonia but was then sent home later that night and passed away in his sleep. Card Player's original information reported that he had died at the hospital.

I remember Doyle saying he was the best player around, but he didn't play many tourneys so his reputation in the TV world was smaller.
