I added Lou Krieger to the blog list a few days. Lou's book on Low Limit Holdem was the third book I read back in the mid to late 90s when I was converting to Holdem. He posts frequently and has a lot of good information on what's happening in the online world. Yesterday he reported that Barney Frank (D-Mass)is planning to introduce a bill to repeal the UIGEA and former Senator Al D'Amato (R-NY) is poised to lobby for its smooth passage. Krieger predicted the D'Amato involvement a few days ago, as Al is a big time poker player himself.

D'Amato was the chairman of the Senate Banking Committee in the mid 1990s so he understands something about Neteller and the way funds move in the new economy. The WSOP schedule has them prepared for 9,000 players in the Main Event this year and I can't see that many people playing unless the online situation is resovled.
