I had such a good day playing $2-4 yesterday that I moved up to $3-6 for a while and took some terrible beats. I held 55 and flopped a full house 5s full of 7s, and damn if the board didn’t pair tens on the next two cards. I played it well and was beat by 7s full of tens.

I Moved back to $2-4 after losing $100 and won it back and then some. I waited 6 weeks to play $2-4 and yet my cockiness had me playing $3-6 the next day. Six more weeks.

I’m on a good run. A moment ago I held AA and the flop came QQx. I bet and was raised and assumed the third queen. There were two more callers for some reason, ignorant draws I suppose. I hit my third ace on the river and checked to the raiser, hoping for the check raise. I got better than that. We capped it on the river and I walked away with over $80 for the effort.

A few hands later I play AJ and flop AA7. It's checked around to the button who bets. Three callers including me. I check it around again and he bets again, two folds, I raise and we cap it. I took away $60. He must have had Ace without a kicker.

Just minutes later. I hold QJ bets capped before flop. Flop is KTT -- Check, bet, raise and I call. The turn is a 2 and I call a bet. The River brings an A. I check raise even though I feared the pocket AA, which would have been the full house, but no worry. I bring $64.

I also tried no-limit with a $25 buy-in earlier. I built it to $40, but my two pair, aces and fives were outdrawn by three jacks.
