SLOW PLAY OF DEATH

I had my full house on the turn, but lost.

I held A3 and the flop came JA3 in a multiway pot.

I checked to the preflop raiser, but he checked as well.

The turn was a 3 and the first bettor put in $4. The next guy upped it to $8, and I raised to $25. I wanted the calls, so I made the bet somewhat welcoming.

The river was a J and the first guy went all-in. I knew I was busted and could only wave goodbye to the $100+ pot.

I'm not unhappy with the way I played it. Maybe I should have bet the initial two pair, but anybody in for that bet probably would have been around still for the river. Then again, I gave reason for the J to believe there were no Aces at the table.

In any case, don't cry for me just yet. I have been playing good solid poker all day and I have raked over $900 today.
