SLOW GOING

Playing $3-6 last night I was holding JT and called the capped raises before the flop with 6 players. The flop dropped KKQ. The Betting and raising began between two other players. It was possible that someone had a full house, but the pot was already over $60 and I decided to gamble for the straight. The Turn was a blank and they capped it again. My 9 hit on the river and those guys must have been dumfounded when I raised them. Funny thing was I ran out of money. I had only bought in for a $100 and had lost more than half that before this hand. My raise was 75 cents less than the 6 dollars expected bet. It was worth $103.

Otherwise it was a rough night for cards. I’d flop two small pair and someone would get their draw on the river.
