JUDO POKER PART II

I've been on a bad run for about a week. The other players know me and my raises are being respected a great deal. I'll go on these long stretches of nothing and then AA turn up and everyone will fold to my pre-flop raise. I've been making money by letting others bet my nuts. Tonight I had a turnaround.

The big example happened when I held 22

and the flop came 288 with 2 diamonds.

The man to my right bet $3 and I just called. Another guy joined us.

The turn was was a Q of diamonds making 3 of them.

The man to my right bed $10 and we both called.

The river was a 4 of diamonds and we were off to the races.

The man to my left bet $50.
I raised all in.
The man after me called with a 7 of diamonds. The fool played J7 the whole way drawing dead to his flush.
The original bettor called with an Ace of Diamonds.
I tripled my money. POT=$302

They never saw it coming. Had I raised after the flop or turn I never would have gotten their big money on the end. Patience and their own force helped me turn the big victory.
