$10-20

I treaded water for a couple of hours, and then I got KK with lots of action preflop. The kings held up for a monster pot. I was up a couple hundred bucks, and holding steady, when another monster hit. I played my old pal, QJs, despite the two bet in front of me. It was three bet behind me and ultimately capped. I'm loving this hand ever since Tom clued me in to how profitable it is. I had been winning with it all night, and this hand was no exception. The flop not only gave me a flush, but offered the A and K, just to let me know for sure. Of course, the guy in front of me liked his AK all the way to the river, and the other raiser had something great as well, though I never saw the hand. I was only worried about the river pairing the board, but it did not, and I was golden.

Just a few hands later, I flopped another flush, holding KJd. The same AK guy had raised preflop, and saw me down to the river. He was not happy to see me show another flush. All told, I won $700 in this session. My favorite play was my final two hands of the night, when both times I folded A5 in early position, both times would have flopped two pair, and both times would have lost to hearts. Those textbook folds saved me a couple hundred. I was happy to quit after seeing that.

Again, I had no luck at the tournaments today, but my ring game is on fire. I had won $300 earlier in $5-10, making for yet another thousand dollar day for Dude. I have won well over three grand in the past week, since buying back in.
