SAME GAME

I went out tonight with buddies and drank many beers. I got home past midnight and should have gone straight to bed, but instead I decided to conquer my demons, despite my blood alcohol level. I sat down at the $10-20 table, convinced that this is the same game that I know so well as $5-10. I played smart, was patient, and to be honest, I got some great cards. Three hours later, I was up over a thousand dollars. The cards aren't any different at the higher stakes, just my attidtude is different. If a hand is worth playing for one unit, it doesn't matter if that unit is worth $3, $5, or $10. I played good solid poker, which earns me profit at the smaller limit tables, betting my strength, chasing on occasion, and avoiding the crying calls. I must say I done good. Got a bankroll now and I don't intend to squander it.
