OCTOBER ANALYSIS

It began so well yet ended so badly. In a nutshell, I won a ton of money early then spent the remainder of the month bleeding. I won two tournaments equalling over $8400, then gave away nearly $7k before Halloween. I bubbled so many big events that I began wondering if I was sabotaging myself in some way. Some of it was just bad luck but there were a few times when I did something reckless which wasn't necessary. The more I lost, the more I attempted crazy stuff at odd times. I have a way of getting into funks. Now it is November and I've lost the recklessness but I'll be on the lookout for that in the future and schedule some down time if it reappears. That's about all I care to say about October - it was extremely disappointing to start the month so good then run so bad. Sure I am still profiting but I am still waiting for that breakout month when I pocket five digits and time is running out for '06. Oh well, I've got time - it's a game of patience. Maybe next year is my big year. Really anything I make is gravy because I did not give up a job to play poker like most people - I am just giving up my chance to watch movies all day every day.

OCTOBER: $1457
2006 YTD: $17,530
