The "$10,000 Guaranteed" nightly event found 459 entrants and paid out thru 40 positions. I was the chip leader for a spell when there were around 110 players left. I had two players all in against me when I flopped top two pairs K9 and one guy hit his inside straight with a J on the river and the other guy had pocket jacks. That was a severe blow. Both guys made bad calls, but it was Dude who suffered. I managed to hang around until I made the money. 40th place was good for $75 and 11th place was good for $100. Once I was in the money, I knew I needed to double up a few times to get into the top ten, so I went all in with the first face card I saw, and lost the pot heads up, content with my $75.
