JUDO POKER III
I hold TT which is a hand that has been profitable for me. In fact, TT is my third highest grossing hand behind AA and KK. The problem with TT is that it's hard to play in early position. You don't want a bunch of players against you and yet if you raise the hand doesn't stand a re-raise very well.
So last night I called $2 under the gun with my TT and sure enough someone raised behind me. The button called the $9 and so did I.
The flop came T64 Rainbow: The dream flop. I check and the raiser bets $15 and the button calls and I call.
The turn is a 7: The only possible danger is someone playing 89, but the road is otherwise clear. I only have $68 on the table and the pot is worth $78. I decide to check, but everyone else checks too. WHat were they raising and calling with? overcards?
The river is an A:Somebody has got to be holding an ace, I figure. I decide I'll go all-in right here and make the guy holding an ace call me. To my great luck, they both call the $68. They both had AK. The pot was $280. A few bits and bytes and it made the trip from around the country and seconds later it resided in FL.
