EUROPEAN DAILY (POKERROOM) 1/233

This one feels really good. I have won a ton of $20 and $30 MTT, but I think this is the first $50 I've ever taken down. I finished 2nd last month, but set the bar higher today, and cashed out $2910.

I sometimes have trouble staying patient in the late stages, and was determined to work through that today. The three major hands towards the end:

Had a guy covered with all the money in 66 v AQ. He hit his Q on the flop. By the turn, I had 234 and the fiver on the river sent him packing. Nice when the best hand holds up, even if done creatively.

Four-way, I am in first place, and second place limps in with 33. Three-way pot, I've got Q9c. Flop is Q63 with two clubs. I am planning to get all my chips in somehow, so I check to the limper, who does not bet. Turn is a Q. I bet out big and limper calls. River is a 9 and all the money goes in. This gave me a monster stack over $200k.

I got a flurry of junk hands while the $100k stack preyed on the short stack. Finally, it is heads up and in the first hand of heads-up action, he limps with AA to my 65. Flop comes K65 with two hearts, and all the money goes in. Felt so good when it held up that I scared the kids with my whooping.
